Report on ‘Rtu-Samrit’ An artist workshop cum Cultural Performances of North- East India Programme
At Auroville in Tamil Nadu From 25th February to 1st March,2015
The IGRMS organized an artist workshop cum demonstration and Cultural performance of North-East India in collaboration with Auroville “Bharat Nivas” and Auroville Bamboo Research center at Auroville in Tamilnadu. From 25th February to 1st March, 2015 . The programme titled on “Rtu Samrit” means in Sanskrit “ All seasons coming to gather”. The entire programme is focus on North-East Indian” mainly craft-demonstration, cultural performance and photographic exhibition titled on “ Glimpses on North-East “ .Also showcased Bamboo in 21st century presentation given by Auroville bamboo Research Center.
In this programme around 140 artists have been participated and shown their artistic and performing skills. The programme is inaugurated at Bharat Nivas in Auroville international center. The programme was very successful and also participated many international visitors. Also covered audio & video documentation and still photographic documentation of the entire programme. An other Special interesting coverage about “ Buddhist history, art and Culture at Tibetian pavilion center in Auroville.
